Does Co.Labs offer investment?
Co.Labs is a non-profit, we take no fees or equity from the startups in our programs. Co.Labs does not have an investment arm. Instead we guide founders through the challenges of scaling their startup & raising investment through expert mentorship & tailored resources.
Do you offer office space?
Yes! We have dedicated offices, bookable board rooms, and flexible hot desking for startups in Co.Link & Co.Lead.
What kind of companies do you work with?
We work exclusively with tech and tech-enabled businesses. These business are generally product based (software or hardware).
Do I need to be full-time on my venture?
To qualify for the Co.Link and Co.Lead programs, at least one founder should be committed to the startup full-time. Founders in the Co.Launch program are not expected to be full-time.
Do I need to have technical experience to join your programs?
Nope, some of our top founders have little to no technical expertise. Generally, when startups are approaching launch they will bring on one or more technical team members.
The Co.Learn Academy is not time bound, submit your idea & access self-guided resources all year round.
Is in-person attendance mandatory?
Nope, you can take part remotely, from anywhere in Saskatchewan. Co.Learn Academy allows you to work on your startup independently with virtual support & online resources provided by the Co.Labs team.
Do I need to be based in Saskatchewan to participate?
Yes.

Do I have to live in Saskatchewan to apply?

Do I need to have a team to apply?
Nope! Having a strong team is an asset, but we accept startups with & without teams.
Do I need a prototype of my product?
No. You can join Co.Launch without a prototype as long as you have a thorough plan for what your product is, that includes digital tech (hardware or software).
Co.Launch is a 6-week program held from March-April and October-November every year. Watch our current cohort pitch live at the next Co.Launch Finale, Thursday, November 28th.
Is in-person attendance mandatory?
Yes. We use a very hands-on approach that requires in-person participation.
What if I'm not ready/able to apply right now?
If you’re unable to apply for the current cohort, submit your idea here to access a database of self-guided resources as you work on your startup independently.
